Meet the Fun 2017 Chevy Malibu



Wide open beach spaces, Beatles music in the background, and the 2017 Chevy Malibu cruising down the ocean front. This year’s model has been redesigned to compete with other increasingly popular midsize sedans. The exterior of the 2017 Malibu will get the attention. A slight hatchback profile with strategically placed side door indentations makes the Malibu look like it runs with the wind. From the front, the Malibu has a pleasing aerodynamic appearance and almost a heart shaped grill, telling the highway it’s time for some wander lust. This economy car is fuel efficient, too, with EPA ratings of 27 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway. Basic L comes with 16-inch steel wheels that glint and gleam in the morning sun. A 21st century car it has the keyless entry for ignition, cloth upholstery, and manual front seat height adjustments. Cruise control and air conditioning are standard but it does have a tilt and telescope steering wheel. A split folding rear seat has a 60 to 40 ratio. OnStar, six speaker audio, and Bluetooth connectivity takes care of audio and communication needs. Antilock brakes, air bags for the front knees, on the side, rear side and side curtain airbags offer protection. OnStar telematics system notifies, assists and even unlocks the door.

LS comes with smartphone integratio. Add in MyLink infotainment system and a 7-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with a Bluetooth streaming audio gives pleasure and communication. The wheels change to 16-inch alloy accompanied by automatic headlights. To please the cyber crowd 4G LTE connectivity giving mobile Wi-Fi keeps it modern. Whether coming or going a driver likes to see it all then a rearview camera makes it possible. At the LT level wheel circumference growth happens here with 17 inches to spin the highway on. Ambient interior lighting sets the mood and an eight-way power driver seat accommodates the positions for driving it home. Satellite audio lets a driver listen to the music while heated mirrors and LED daytime running lights lead the way. Another variation exists known as 2LT which makes for 18 inch wheels, and 15.8-gallon fuel tank.

At premier level the Chevy Malibu has 19 inch wheels. LED now moves to the taillights and added is a color driver information system. Rearview mirrors now auto dim while a driver sits comfortably on leather upholstery with heated front seats. Once comfy use the driver memory settings to maintain and enjoy the heated steering wheel. Power lumbar with a six-way power passenger seat, dual zone automatic climate control, and a Bose audio system make it memorable. Continuing the power theme, a 120-volt power outlet and wireless smartphone charging helps keep the flow.
